Kumfs has never looked fresher and more fashionable than for Spring/Summer 07/08 with a selection of slick new styles – all with the Kumfs trademark quality and that enviable reputation for comfort.
Aztec influences are prominent for Spring/Summer, and Kumfs brings a broad range of flat sandals, Roman styles and t-bars and slides in burnished natural leathers and rich metallics such as silver, old gold and copper. Aztec styles also feature detailed embellishments such as embroidery and top stitching, woven or plaited straps, rivets, domes or bronze hardware.
Ballet slippers continue for the new season, but with new design touches such as laser cut-out patterns, slim, sexy ankle-straps and a wonderful new moccasin/ballerina with metallic stud detail and top-stitching.
Stepping up to a bit more heel, ‘60s and ‘70s retro influences are also strong for Spring/Summer with a smart cut-away platform ‘wooden’ wedge making its first showing, replacing the cork sole of past seasons; available in Aztec finishes, naturals and metallics.
And another retro look, the platform court shoe, so popular last season, is updated with classic cuts, peep toes and ankle straps, in fresh gelato leathers in coral, green and yellow The metallic look also appears in heels with lustrous reptiles, combined with bronze or old gold detailing.
And sneakers complete the collection, with pretty patterned leathers, metallic straps and detailing that add freshness to this classic style.
Kumfs has always been renowned for its devotion to comfort, but the team are not resting on their laurels, this season releasing a fabulous new anatomically-contoured insole that will provide comfort never before experienced in a sandal.
